| I had been looking for a digital keychain and reading all the reviews for several different brands. I decided on this one, because it was the only one with a one year warranty on it. Most of the reviews said it was pretty hard to get the photos programmed into the key chains. The Curtis brand is a really good name, so I hoped it would be easier to program or at least have good customer service to help me. I did have to call the customer service to figure out how to get my pictures into a file that my keychain could download from. I called about 7pm CST and there was only a short wait to talk to someone. They were very helpful. Once I figured out how to preview pictures and download them, it was easy. The picture quality is very good in my opinion. I love everything about this Curtis digital keychain. In fact, I loved it so much, I ended up ordering a total of 6 of them for my family. All of them like it just as much. My brother is going to Kuwait in September, so he was at the top of my list to receive one. I highly recommend this item. It was well worth the money!! |

| Unfortunately I didn't have the same experience with Curtis as others. I tried multiple times at different times of the day and week to get someone to help me set up the unit. I got instructions from one person and reset the unit, recharged the battery, shut down my computer and alas, it still is not recognized by the computer. I tried it on the laptop with the same result. Today, I talked with the manager of the department at Curtis and he verifies that I must ship the unit back to the warehouse at my expense of $22.00 and they determine if it is a faulty unit. The unit cost $19.23 from Amazon at date of purchase including shipping. Even with the 1 year warranty, it still costs $22.00 to send it in for repair. In my frustration, I called Amazon customer service with my saga. Thank you very much Michael for assisting me! I have a full refund through Amazon. It will be a long time before I think about purchasing a unit from Curtis International. I will, however, be purchasing happily from Amazon, but watching the 30 day return policy. Thanks Amazon. |
