| I really find this a steal for $79. The lcd is very clear and the colors are very bright. I would have liked it to have built-in alarm clock but o well. I plan on giving a few as gifts for Christmas. hohoho! |
Great frame for Parents/Grandparents

Unlike others below, I had no issues with setting up the frame. Hooked up to my pc, powered on and windows 7 recognized it without issue. It is like a standard thumbdrive, just drag and drop. As for the pictureframe gui, it's easy once you learn how to use it. Contrary to other reviews, there is a shuffle button and you can save the changes when you know which key you are hitting. I bought this as a Christmas present and it is currently loaded with 300 pictures, on a 1 minute shuffle sideshow with 500 MB left.
Large screen, great resolution, user friendly if you were born after 1980 :) |
Beautiful Frame

| After much research, I settled on the Opteka 12.1" frame a Christmas gift to my parents partly due to the price ($89), aspect ratio (4:3), and screen size (12 inch). I've been more than satisfied by the picture quality and beautiful wooden frame. My only complaint is the manual is written in Chinese-English and not very detailed. I did however after playing with it, figure out how to work out what was not clear in the manual. I get it an A+. I know my parents are going to love the frame and will be buying a few more as gifts, even one for myself. |
Perfect Frame for Grandparents

Bought this for the Grandparents who do not have a computer. I have thousands of digital pictures so we thought this would make a great gift. Seemed to offer a lot of bang for the buck. I have seen 7" frames for the same price I paid ($80) Was a little nervous as I had never heard of this brand before.
With the 1 gig memory built in was able to load up hundreds (After downsizing in iphoto) of pictures for them. Simply hooked to my mac and drag and dropped photo files to frame icon. This will hold close to 1000 pictures Large 12.1 size a bonus too. Pictures are clear and bright. Grandparents loved it!
Menu/instructions could be clearer but in this instance it is turn on and go. |
